  2. ?

How many different pages/designs are there? For example: a 153-page single-sided book would have 153 originals. A 153-page double-sided book would still have 153 originals.

    ?
  3. *Sides

    ?

If your document includes printing on both sides of the page, choose double-sided. If you only want printing on one side of the page, choose single-sided instead.

  4. *Size

  5. *Paper Choices

    ?

Text weight papers are designed for use on many types of common business documents, including newsletters, booklets, business correspondence, and more. They provide a good surface for printing and are more flexible than cover stock.

Cover weight papers are heavier, stiffer, and more durable than text papers. They're often used for printed pieces that require more bulk, such as booklet/report covers, posters, business cards, postcards, and the like.

Kromecoat Paper is coated with a high gloss on one side and a matte finish on the back. This paper works well for anything that requires a writeable surface while still giving you the image quality of gloss.

  6. *Bleed

    ?

If your document includes text or graphics that extend to the edge of the page, it will require a bleed area. Otherwise, there will be a white, ~1/4" border along the edges of your document.

  7. *Folding Options

View Folded once in the center, creating two, equal halves.
View Bottom third folded up and top third folded down, overlapping it. Common for letters, flyers, and brochures.
View Two parallel folds made in opposite directions, resulting in a z-shape fold and creating three panels of equal size. Common for letters, flyers, and brochures.
View Four panels. Folded in half and then in half again in the same direction. Two inside sections are slightly skinnier for exact alignment when folding.
View Features a larger interior panel and two equal side panels that fold inward but do not overlap, similar to doors or gates.
  8. *Staples

    ?

Staples keep multi-page documents organized. Choose between either a single staple in the upper left-hand corner or two staples along the left edge to create a simple binding.

    ?
  9. *Collating

    ?

    • Collating will print your pages in order, similar to a book.

    • Grouping will keep each page separated from the others.

    ?
  10. *Binding Options

    ?

    Saddle-Stitching

Saddle-stitching involves inserting staples through the spine of a multi-page document before it is folded. Most booklets and smaller magazines use this binding method.

  12. *Hole Drilling

    ?

Drilling is the printing term for punching holes along the spine edge of a printed item. Three-hole drilling allows your printed items to be conveniently stored in a standard three-ring binder. 3/16", 1/4", and 5/16" holes are available. Of these, 5/16" is the most common.
